Kenneth Owen Lawton - Principal
Commonly known by his middle name, Owen qualified in 1989. Owen has a wealth of experience of care proceedings and indeed conducted his first contested care case prior to the introduction of the Children Act!
A member of the Law Society accreditation panel for Children Law, Owen is also authorized to appear as a higher court advocate in all proceedings. Whilst no longer engaging in criminal work, Owen has a detailed knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and can bring that expertise to tell in cases that involve an overlap between Criminal and Family Law proceedings.
Janet Lawton – Office Manager
A member of the Institute of Legal Cashiers and Administrators, Janet ensures the smooth running of the office and handles much of the administrative burden of the practice.
